About WhaleCreep

WhaleCreep is a free, independent tracker of what well-known hedge funds and concentrated managers own, built entirely from their SEC Form 13F filings.

It exists because the raw filings are public but not readable. EDGAR gives you one XML table per manager per quarter, in units that changed in 2023, with amendments that sometimes replace and sometimes add, and issuer names that do not resolve to tickers. WhaleCreep does that work once, every day, and publishes the result as plain pages anyone can read and an interactive board for people who want to explore.

What you will not find here

Performance figures. A 13F cannot support them, and 13F-derived "returns" published elsewhere are long-book replications, not fund returns. WhaleCreep measures what a 13F does support: holdings, weights, share changes, concentration, tenure and crowding. See the methodology.
